Shipping and Delivery - Art Engagement

Delivery and packaging for some artworks are free of charge. To clarify if an additional charge will be made for delivery, please look under the view artwork information for the artwork of interest to you, where it will indicate if delivery cost is additional or free. Should you wish a delivery quote on any artwork, we would be happy to provide it. Please email us at and indicate which item you would like a delivery quote on and country and address for delivery including post / zip code, or simply follow the delivery quote link under the artwork of interest to you. Where applicable we will advise you of any additional cost for delivery before processing payments.

Art Engagement and or its agents will deliver art work and except requests for sale orders from most countries, however there are some locations we regrettably may not be able to deliver too.
Delivery is usually within 7 to 14 days from sending, but I it may take up to 30 days. Art work will need signing for on arrival, we ask you inspect the artwork for any signs of damage prior to signing for it. In the unlikely event that damage has occurred we ask you to advise the delivery person of this. It may just be the outer box has become damaged. Ask the delivery person to wait while you check the contents for damage. If the contents are damaged decline to sign or except the delivery, please then advise Art Engagement as soon as you can so we can rectify the problem. Should you sign for the goods and see damage, please indicate by writing with your signature, ‘item arrived damaged’ and ask for a receipt confirming damage from the person delivering the item.

Payment for purchase of paintings or services can be made by credit card either Visa or MasterCard, or debit cards which hold the Visa logo, and bank account credit by electronic transfer or Paypal. We regret we currently do not accept American Express cards or any type of cheques, postal orders or vouchers. Artworks will be sent once payments are received and cleared.

Returns policy


You can cancel an order for artwork without charge prior to the point of the artwork having been sent. To advise Art Engagement about a cancellation please email or phone +372 7122 776 If the Artwork has already been sent, then there will be a delivery handling fee, of 40 euro by way of deduction of any refund provided for payment of the painting.

Cancelling an order after delivery has been made and returning it:


After delivery has been made you may also cancel the acquisition by notifying Art Engagement in writing via email or fax within 15 days from the point the artwork was delivered to you and returning the artwork to the sending address which Art Engagement can provide upon request,. We request you first notify Art Engagement of your intent to return an item and we will provide a reference number to be quoted on the return. You will be responsible for payment of the shipping returns fee or the collection fee of the Artwork/s + transit insurance (except where the item is either damaged in transit or the wrong item has been sent in error by Art Engagement)

If Art Engagement makes arrangement for the return of the artwork, then the returns/collection fee will be deducted off any refund for the artwork provided. Cancellation requests made after 15 working days from the point the artwork was delivered to you will not be accepted. Further details about how to go about arranging for the return of an artwork are provided with the artwork shipment or upon you notifying us of your wish to return an item.

Value Added Tax. (VAT)


There is no sales tax / VAT currently imposed by Art Engagement on artworks we sell.

Customs Charges / Import duties


These fees, where applicable are not included in the prices of the artwork shown on the website.

For customers within the European Union


If you are a customer within the European Union and the artwork is supplied from within the EU to a EU address, then there will currently be no Import VAT charge or customs charges to pay.

If you are a customer living within the EU and the artwork is supplied from outside the EU to a EU address then import VAT will likely apply to your purchase. Import VAT will be chargeable at the standard percentage rate of VAT that is applied in your EU country, This charge will likely be billed to you by the shipping agent separately. The shipping agent will then pay such charges to your countries tax authorities. The calculation of Import VAT is usually worked out on the sales value of the artwork There will be no additional customs charges to pay.

The following countries are currently within the European Union:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

For Customers Outside the European Union


If you are a customer living outside the European Union, purchasing a artwork via Art Engagement you will not be charged VAT on the sale, but you may be subject to customs fees, import duties and tax charges, Many countries zero rate artworks produced by hand which often mean no additional customs charges are payable, however Art Engagement has no control over the setting of such charges and what they might be, it is up to you to check with your local customs authorities of any customs / tax charges that will be payable by you on importation of the artwork. Such charges where due are often billed to you by the shipping agent separately. The shipping agent will then pay such charges to your countries tax authorities. When ordering from Art Engagement.com you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
