Picture Framing - Art Engagement

Art Engagement does not routinely provide a framing service for artwork it sells, this is because of the extra shipping cost that is created in doing so, which would be passed on to you, this allows you to save money on shipping and the possibility should you so wish, to have your purchased art work framed at a local picture frame shop, in addition allowing you to have first hand sight of what the painting will look like in a given frame.

Art Engagement provides a framing service for artwork sold to corporate clients for requests over 5 paintings in association with a fitting fee / framing and mounting fee. For corporate clients, framing can be arranged at additional cost, which is individual to the picture size and frame type chosen. In addition framing / mounting can be arranged for private clients on art work in the Tallinn area. Please contact AE Tallinn for more details email:

Not all artworks require framing, mounting and glass cover. In general works on paper and many textiles should have a glass cover and be mounted. Glass is needed to keep the art clean and the mount to protect the artwork from touching the glass. Oils and acrylics on canvas or on board do not generally need a glass cover or mounting, as they need to breathe. They can be framed to help enhance and protect them.

Please note some art works on Art Engagement have already been framed, in these instances the art work will be sold and shipped with the frame and the price shown is inclusive of the art work frame, unless stated otherwise. Artworks that are being sold framed, will indicate this in the description section next to the relevant artwork.

Along with each artwork on artengagement.com we may indicate any framing recommendations. A local art supplier to you should be able to advise and arrange framing / glass and mounting services for art works at their additional cost, payable by you.
