About Art Engagement

Art Engagement predominantly focuses on artists in the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Baltic states bordering Russia can be considered to be at the heart of a movement of change and discovery in art, whilst each having their own unique developments and cultures.

We are primarily focused on contemporary original artworks created in Paint, Photographic and original artist print forms, E.g. intaglio, Lithographic, Relief. Whilst our outlook is contemporary we do however provide a number of older original artist prints from a variety of backgrounds.

As a gallery we like to focus on works of art that engage and comment on society, its social situations, issues, thoughts and feelings be they strong, light hearted or controversial observations. Our vision likes to take in these artwork forms because they provide today some of the key movements in art and offer to form the beginning of a important place in a historical context, they become a record of thought, feelings and actions within a nation.
